Welcome Snowbirds and Slabbers of all ages, this is the official Slab City website. Slab City is a free RV oasis located in the desert southwest near Niland, California. We are an organization dedicated to the clean-up and preservation of Slab City. We have assembled vital information for our registered members about Slab City and the surrounding community on our website. Such items include local maps, 24-hour weather conditions, and RV services. This website also contains the only known "Slab City Search Engine" to look up items of interest, and we have an extensive online library of Slab City video clips and photographs on display. The Slab City Organization is privately funded and relies upon donations from members to operate. Slab City needs your help! Most people agree that Slab City is a great place stay for the winter. The only problem is the the trash. Too many years of ignoring the problem has only made things worse. Our efforts to increase awareness about the illegal dumping are finally beginning to pay off. Word is quickly spreading that people are now on the lookout for illegal dumping activities. One or two people speaking out against the trash problem will unfortunately do little good. But collectively, we can all send a strong message together that it's time for the litterbugs to learn some new habits. The Slab City Organization was created for pro-active folks, like you, who want to see a change. Together, let's put an end to the senseless littering that takes place in our desert communities.
